Electrobike is an electric bicycle rental service recently established in San Francisco. While we do have plans to expand to other cities, at this time we are focused on providing the highest quality, self-guided bicycle touring experience available in San Francisco. For reasons having to do with durability, reliability, safety and comfort, the electric bicycle we rent we also manufacture.

Every bike is equipped with a 7" tablet mounted to the handlebars providing active GPS-navigation, ferry schedules, and other geo-referencing features that enhance travel in and around the city. There's even a phone call feature available to the renter in the event of a question, problem or emergency. Electrobikes ascend even the steepest hills with ease and do offer the option for exercise proportional to the user's experience and physical abilities. Renters must be 16 years of age but no license or special training is required. A $500 security deposit per bike is required at time of rental.
